Smith's Chapel church of Christ
This is an old church of christ out in Gadberry, Ky. It was taken about 1925. This is the Smith's chapel church of Christ. The building was located in Gadberry, Kentucky south of Columbia on Highway 704. The building burned a few years ago under suspicious circumstances, but before it did the pulpit was removed for restoration. The little girl in the front row, third from the left is Dorothy Darnell Gadberry. Dorothy was born in 1918 and based on that it is estimated the year was around 1925. Before Dorothy passed away in 2001, she went through and named the people in the photo. At age 83 she knew everyone with few exceptions.
