Tiggers don't climb down . . . well, this one actually can

The LITTLE CAT which passed through the East Fortune ST neighborhood this morning is too fond of climbing trees. It was about 9 feet up in a water maple when it was rescued this morning, and had much higher. Each time the kitty is rescued it bounds back up a tree again. An update: at 1:24pm today, the kitty did come down from 16 feet up an elm, when it called for help, Ladder 1 did not respond, and it came down the tree itself. It is very smart, active, and entertaining. It could be a person inside a kitten outfit, it is so clever.Update at 4:06pmCT, the cat has gone to live with a wonderful family on Pine Tree Street in Columbia, KY. It appears, since the gender was ascertained, that she may have been abandoned. If that is the case, we have a happy ending.
