2008-03-08 - B&B Que, Columbia, KY - Photo From the collection of Joe L. Barbee. OL' JOE'S B&B QUE BARBECUE RESTAURANT, Campbellsville RD, Columbia, KY, will be adding this old black and white publicity photo to the collection of scenic photography, historic photographs, and humorous photographs around the walls of the restaurant. This one is of the old radio performers, the "Bar X Cowboys", which included, from left, Stringbean from the Grand Ole Opry, along with some, Samuel Kelsay, Columbia, KY; Casey Jones,of Knifley and Columbia, KY, one time World Fiddle Champion; Hollis Keltner, who would become even more famous as the Mayor of Columbia, and Clyde Royse, Garlin, KY. The photo, is now on it's way to Charles Cole's C&R Picture Framing in Garlin, KY, in preparation for its hanging in a place of honor at B&B Que, maybe by the third weekend in Friday & Saturday, March 21 & 22, 2008. Comments & corrections about the picture and the performers are welcome.
