2008-02-07 - Burkesville ST, Columbia, KY - Photo By Ed Waggener.
DOUG MULLINS, center, the Democrat running for 51st District (Adair and Taylor) was campaigning in Columbia on Thursday afternoon, February 7, 2008. On his left is Columbia developer and former Adair County Judge Executive R.L. Walker. On his right is Columbia Insurance executive, agricultural leader, and Democratic political leader Dwayne Loy. Mullins is a former Social Security Administration worker at Campbellsville. "I know Adair County well," he said. "I've worked with people all over the county. One thing I can assure you," he added, "is that when I'm your representatives I'll work equally hard for both Taylor and Adair Counties." Mullins will be the featured speaker at the February 18, 2008 Adair County Democratic Women's Club.
