Larry Smith Photos from the Past: Greensburg Water Works

2008-01-21 - Photo From the collection of Larry Smith.
LARRY SMITH, news anchor at WHVE FM 92.7, The Wave, and South Central Kentucky historian, sent this very timely photo from the past. It's a reminder of how far water treatment plants have come with the Adair County Water Treatment coming online at Coburg, KY. The Greensburg Water Works Building, above, was built in the WPA days. Larry Smith writes, "To the left is the Old Footbridge and the Greensburg Bottling Company from a distance, and if you look even more to the left, you'll see the old Greensburg High School."
