George Rice: Jericho, KY historian and Egyptologist

2008-01-11 - Columbia, KY - Photo By Ed Waggener.
GEORGE RICE, is the man behind the recent news from Egypt-sometimes Absher, Adair County, KY, and is the author of the Charity Baptist Church, Jericho, KY. He's also known to everyone in Columbia whose US mail he carried before retiring back to full time farming on KY 551, the Knifley Road. The history, rich with narrative and photos, is sold out except for two work copies, until he gets more printed at South Central Printing in Columbia, KY. Rice promises to share more history and photos from the Green River area and old Route 1, Columbia, KY. Clicking Read More accesses the "Today, Fri.. Jan. 11, 2008" feature and more CM photographs.
