The GEYSER FROM THE WATER MAIN BREAK inadvertently added to the Christmasy look downtown, but it was an aesthetic touch the crews of Columbia of Columbia Utilities could well have done without on the second day of January, 2008. When the photo was taken, they had been on the job for two hours, with at least another hour to go. Dana Rogers, Columbia Water Superintendent, said he expected the repair to be complete by 6:30am Wednesday night, January 2, 2007.
