LARRY SMITH, South Central Kentucky historian and the WAVE, FM 92.7 news anchor, sent this photo from the past. from the past, and writes, "Here's a photo taken in the late 1930's.This picture is a city street in downtown Columbia. I think it might be near Greensburg Street." He's right, the photo is of the Greensburg Street area. The very center would be the intersection of High and Greensburg Streets, at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. The nearer intersection, on the right between the two houses on the right, is at South High and West Fortune Streets. Call Larry Smith at (270) 384-7979.
