DAWN DeHARTE hopes she's solved the mystery of the iron gate at the Columbia Cemetery. It may have been installed well after the 1920s photo of Earl Conover on the steps. The photo above was taken in the 1940s, she believes. She writes, "The young man is my father, Bruce DeHarte. He is with his parents, Isabel and Hal DeHarte.
