2007-10-07 - OK Country Cooking, 2339 Campellsville RD, Columbia, KY - Photo By Sandy Wilson rom ACHS Bands website, by permission of webmaster Doyle Lloyd.
The BAND DADS waited tables at at Columbia's biggest private restaurant and perhaps South Central Kentucky's best known, Betty's OK Country Cooking, one day earlier this week. Above, Band Dad Carl Shirley with Betty Ollestadt, owner of OK Country Cooking. The Band Boosters, Doyle Lloyd said, were extremely well pleased with the results. "We want to thank Betty for all she does for us, and for the community," he said. Carl Shirley expressed the same feelings. "What Betty did went a long way on paying for the motel rooms for kids at Clarksville. We can't thank her enough for everything she does to help the band.
