Old Coddger took this picture and writes, "The age old question arises from time to time as to whether the ironwork on top of our Adair County Courthouse is 6's or not. After careful exanimation of this photograph I believe it is just the design of the ironworker, who has long since passed, not the dreaded three 6's as some think. Any futher edification would be appreciated. Here is the : Full view, Adair County Courthouse" No Columbia Gas Department Superintendents were endangered to take this photograph.
