Billy Phillips: with wife Jelaine, in happier times

2007-07-10 - Wm Davenport Family Center, Trinity UMC, Campbellsville RD, Columbia, KY - Photo By Linda Waggener.
This is the most recent photograph we have of Billy Phillips, above with his wife, Jelaine Phillips, a health education instructor at the Adair County Health Department. The photo was taken at the Phillps' church home, Trinity United Methodist, at a fund raiser in November, 2006, for the late Tyler Jessee. Mr. Phillips died June 4, 2007, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. Mr. Phillips died following an altercation with a KSP Police Trooper at the Adair County Regional Jail. On Friday July 20th, 2007 Trinity United Methodist Church will host a "Candlelight Prayer Vigil for Truth, Justice and Healing: In Memory of Billy Phillips," in the same Family Life Center. It will begin at 7:4pm. CT.
