Green River Bridge, Columbia Highway, Greensburg, KY



2007-06-26 - Greensburg, KY - Photo By Fayette Smith. "The old bridge spanned the Green River on Columbia Highway in Greensburg, KY. The bridge was built in 1900 by the Champion Bridge Company. This photo was made in the mid-1930's. A flood in the late 40's destroyed the upper portion. In 1950 a new two bridge was built which still stands today. The Green River bridge in this photo is next to where the current bridge was constructed. This location is in the Dairy Queen area of Greensburg," - LARRY SMITH, 92.7, the Wave, doin' some good in the neighborhood
