Gene Jessee took this photo of redbuds in bloom in his yard in Columbia, KY, on March 26, 2007. Redbuds are approaching their peak a bit early this year, but they are glorious. Along the highways, particularly along the Louie B. Nunn Parkway, they are glorious, especially when seen along the cuts, where, in the headlights, they can evoke thoughts of snow.
