Green River Road Race 2007: Team Cyclers Cafe here today

2007-03-17 - Near LaGrange - Photo By Craig Dooley. Several teams, will grace the Green River Road Course today, including Team Cyclers Cafe/Humana, including Joff Hoyle, front; Tom Brockman, center; and Cyclers Cafe Owner, Joe Solm. This shot was taken March 3, 2007, at Round 1, near Lagrange, KY. The ambulance in the background is a must at cycle meets. Adair County EMS Director Terry Akin said that he will post at least one ambulance at Shepherd School Day. "They (race organizers) said that we were almost sure to be needed," Akin said. There is an element of danger in cycling races, not the least of which are dogs, particularly those breeds which chase. Dog owners along the race course are urged to keep animals away from passing cyclists.
