Miriam VanArsdale receives Libby Burr Academic & Leadership Scholarship

Miriam VanArsdale, a member of the Adair County High School Cheerleading squad, received the Libby Burr Academic and Leadership Scholarship at the KAPOS 5th region cheerleading competition on Saturday, January 20, 2007. Miriam was one of only three young ladies that received this honor from the 5th region. The 5th Region is proud to award scholarships each year to outstanding senior cheerleaders. Miriam also received the 5th Region All-Academic Cheerleading Squad award for which she has had the honor of receiving all four years of her high school career. She also received a plaque for the KAPOS 5th Region Academic Award for Adair County High School 2007. Miriam is a senior cheerleader at Adair County High School and the daughter of Ronnie and Sandra VanArsdale of Columbia.
