Bill Parson, foregound, retired Executive Director of the Lake Cumberland Area Development District, a distinction he shares with Mayor Pat Bell, was on hand chiefly to watch wife June Parson take the oath of office as Columbia City Councillor. Next to him are supporters of Dennis Loy, who also have family ties to Adair County Court Clerk Sheila Watson Blair and the late first District Magistrate Sidney Grant of Little Cake. The photo was taken at inaugural ceremonies Sunday, December 31, 2006.
