Kentucky Birds: Bald Eagle at Salato Wildlife Center

This bald eagle can be seen at the Salato Wildlife Center just outside of Frankfort, KY. Chances to see the American Bald Eagle in the wild will be offered at Eagle Watch Excursions at four Kentucky State Parks, including three weekends at Dale Hollow State Resort Park a few miles south of Burkesville, KY. (Salato Wildlife Center in Frankfort is named for the same beloved Columbian as was the building which house the Adair County Health Department on Westlake Drive: the late Dr. James C. Salato.)
