Christmas in Columbia 2006: Night time glory, winning float

2006-12-04 - Jamestown Hill, Columbia, KY - Photo By Kessler Mortgage Co..

JESUS RETURNING on a WHITE HORSE with Tony Rogers portraying the Savior, and the Angel with a trumpet, portrayed by Dariann Smith, had a dramatic impact on parade watchers all along the parade route. In the At the Cross scene, representing Christmas Present, are Pastor Ronnie Turner and Meagan Coffey. The Pickett's Chapel United Methodist Church float was the Winner of the In-County Float division in judging at McCammish Mfg.'s parking lot at 3:30pm, Saturday, December 2, 2006. The church also won the big prize the last time it entered a float, in 2000.
