Folklore of the Old West Festival 2006: Country Quilters

2006-10-14 - Fellowship Hall, Columbia Baptist Church - Photo By CM staff.
The COUNTRY QUILTERS has a big Quilt Show in the Fellowship Hall of Columbia Baptist Church. From left, above, Louise Hengehold, Denise Stewart, Sue Smith, Rebecca Grant, and Jane Grant, all members of the Country Quilters, are shown with the centerpiece of the show, quilts which are owned by the Janet Caldwell family. The quilts are over 150 years old, and have never been displayed at an event before. None of the quilts displayed are for sale, but the organization is selling raffle tickets on a quilt at their booth on the Columbia Square today, Saturday, October 14, 2006. The show lasts from 9:00am until 3:00pm. The Columbia Baptist Church (CBC) Fellowship Hall entrance is in the rear of the church, which is located at the corner of Greensburg ST and Monroe ST, just off the Columbia Square.
