Remembering: Sarah Louise Beard Strickland

She grew up on Jamestown Hill,
attended Adair Schools
and Columbia Baptist Church

Friends in Adair County will be saddened to hear the belated news of the passing of Sarah Louise Beard Strickland, 65, who died June 1, 2006, in Lillington, NC.

Mrs. Strickland was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Beard. She was a member of a large family which grew up on Jamestown Hill. One brother, Jim Beard, is retired in Columbia.
