Hopkins School Grades 1-8, 1948 : Identification in Progress

Great progress has been made in identifying the Hopkins School Grades 1-8, 1948-49 Photo, with the help of Lewis Curry, Lila Ford, Thelbert Curry, Lewis Curry, and A.L."Pewee" Sinclair. Rollin McQueary a alumnus of Hopkins School, sent this photo of the students at the school in 1948-1949. He wrote, "The teacher is Dorothy Cole. I am third row fourth student from the left," but he isn't sure about the others. "I could use some help on the others," he said. It' a great photo. It's easy to see by from the bright eyes and beautiful faces why Hopkins grads answer the age-old and still pondered question: "Who is the better educated? A graduate of Hopkins, Vester, or Garlin"? with "Hopkins." Help will be appreciated. And we're still looking for a an old photo of Hopkins School for Elaine Burton Cooley.
