Watch out for leaf drifts while driving home today

2005-11-28 - Columbia, KY - Photo Linda Waggener. WATCH FOR BLOWING LEAVES AS YOU DRIVE TODAY. High winds are rearranging dry leaves at a rapid pace from one yard or field to the next. In one place on Edmonton Road there was actually a leaf drift out onto the road. Leaf drifts probably aren't nearly as dangerous as snow drifts, however, strong winds bringing in the weather front are able to rock cars and trucks, so do travel with care.
