2005-11-16 - Columbia, KY - Photo Linda Waggener. AUTHOR BETTY JANE GORIN INTRODUCED HER BOOK, "MORGAN IS COMING!" at the Adair Public Library. Columbia and Adair County play prominently in the book about Confederate Raiders in the Heartland of Kentucky. Some of the Adair County families mentioned in the book include: Cravens, Baker, Hathaway, Hood, Humphress, Page and Sublett. The beautiful 453-page book will make perfect Christmas gifts for anyone who enjoys local history. A full book review is planned for a later date on this site.
