The Man Who is Building the Road

2005-11-03 - Between the Clarence Keltner & Dr. Bem Arnold Places, Columbia, KY - Photo Staff. Bob the Builder unmasked. Many people have asked us who is bulding the system of roads the Fletcher administration, Curtis Hardwick, et al, have endowed Adair County with, and here he is. Bobby Moore, in real life Bobby Moore, Columbia, KY, was atop his D-9 High Track Caterpillar at the peak of the 80 ft. mountain on the old Conover Sisters (Mabel and Ella) Farm which is now owned by Dr. Arnold. Mr. Moore is working on the new KY 61/Ky80 connection between Columbia and the new interchange for KY 61 at the Louie B. Nunn Parkway with Rose Construction Co. When the corner is removed the cut will be about 80 feet deep. Carl Arnold, the Arnold farm manager, told us. The site is dramatically changing each day.
