Meadow Hill Cafe staff

2005-08-25 - Columbia, KY - Photo Linda Waggener. The LEAD ADAIR 2006 CLASS kickoff meeting began with dinner at Meadow Hill Cafe on Burkesville Street in Columbia. On the menu were green salads, mesquite chicken breasts, pork chops, grilled vegetables, baked potatoes, andDerby and key lime Pie. The staff of the Cafe includes, from left above: Tammy Coomer, Jessica Grant, Jordan Woody and Cindy Walker, owner. They are standing in front of the mural painted by Adair County artist and gallery owner Henrietta Scott. The cafe is named after the Meadow Hill Inn restaurant started by Cindy's parents-in-law, Bill and Maxine Walker, right after WWII ended. In the late 60s the restaurant was converted to Walker Florist and Gift Shop which operates beside the Cafe.
