Jamie Parker chosen as video game artist



2005-01-11 - Sparksville, KY - Photo Linda Waggener. CONGRATULATIONS ARE IN ORDER for Jamie Parker, pictured above in the cap. Jamie was recruited to Adair County by his grandfather, Lloyd French, left, and felt he had no future in art until he wound up in a class taught by Henrietta Scott, at right. Today, in his mid-twenties, Jamie has just been recruited to Amsterdam to draw artwork for a video game company there -- a lifetime dream of his. Between Jamie and Henrietta is his wife, Danielle who is a student at UNCA. Between Lloyd and Jamie are Jeff Scott, Peggy Lawson and Carolyn Hale. The group is shown in Jeff and Henrietta's HRS Gallery and Studio where a watercolor art class was in progress when Jamie and Danielle dropped in to share the good news.
