How many vehicles a day?

2003-09-11 - Columbia, KY - Photo Linda Waggener. CAN YOU GUESS how many vehicles go around the Adair County Courthouse daily? The figure of 28,000 was given to community leaders who attended a recent roads meeting. Judge Jerry Vaughan said the figure seemed totally impossible and was questioned because Campbellsville only shows 17,000 per day. Engineers defended their count and said that Columbia's numbers can be greater due to the lack of bypasses; in Columbia, every vehicle is forced to move onto the square. Looking out the courtroom window in this photo, it just doesn't seem that busy. What do you think?
