2003-06-08 - Columbia, KY - Photo Linda Waggener. THE ROBBERS AND ONE OF THEIR WOMEN posed before beginning their re-enactment of the James-Younger Gang event which happened in Columbia in April, 1872. From left, actors known as "Guntown Mountain and friends" include: Stanley and Peggy Lawson, Larry Rooks, Danny Bailey and Ken Hill, all of Columbia. The crowd gave wildly enthusiastic cheers for the actors as they galloped from the bank, shooting into the air, in their getaway. A video is available.
