Kim Gilpin Turner retires from Adair County High School

2026-10-04 - Columbia, KY - Photo from ACHS.
ACHS Assistant Principal JR Thompson shares, "The end of an era at Adair County High School - after 28 years of service, our school secretary Mrs. Kim Gilpin Turner retired. She has been the first face each person saw each time they entered our school and has been diligent to service our community, students, parents and staff faithfully. I don’t know our school without Mrs. Kim and will miss her bright smile and warm welcome each day. As with life, seasons change and I wish her the very best as she enjoys her much deserved retirement. We will miss you, Kim! Thank you for all that you’ve done to make our school the wonderful place that it truly is. Once and Indian, always an Indian."
