New men's shelter ready to help those in need in Columbia

Joy Ministries had been praying for help to meet the need for a men's shelter in Columbia. This building was the answer. It was placed this week in the lot beside the 911 Center and in use just hours afterward. Included in the picture taken by Paul Abell at the opening are: Dean and Valerie Adams, Kisha Burton, Faith Anderson, Deidra Derman, Crystal Cundiff, Hannah Peck Walker, Mary Beth Phelps, Mark and Carol Klingberg, John Davis, Adam Shepherd, Dennis Loy Richard Phelps, ACJE Larry Russell Bryant, Bridgett Compton, and Mayor Pam Hoots.
