Dave Rosenbaum writes, "Ran across a classic today. It was advertised as Statesman Country. Classic Volume Number One. Few of us remain that recall Beanpole on WAIN. Beanpole's autobiography contained perhaps the most profound philosophy I have ever encountered. In describing his varied life pursuits, he concludes with:

From job to job I searched for the easy way, which was not.

That, my friend is deep stuff."
