ATV/SLSPV checklist

Prepare for your Sheriff's Inspection by making sure your ATV meets the minimum requirements set by law for registration. To register an ATV for street use, it must have all of the following: Braking System, Working Muffler, Tires with at least 1/16" tread, Windshield or Eye Protection, Illuminated Speedometer, Rearview Mirrors on each side, Front Turn Signals on each side, Back Turn Signals on each side, Brake Lamp(s), Headlamp(s), Tall Lamp(s), Rear Red Reflector(s), Horn, Roll Bar or Roll Cage, Illuminated License Plate Holder, and a, Federal Conforming Seatbelt Assembly.
