Family and friends search for kidney donor for Chandler

2022-07-25 - Green County, KY - Photo by Shelley Bishop.
Chandler Wright, a senior at Green County High School, has renal dysplasia, a chronic kidney disease, and his doctors say he must have a living donor...and soon. The doctors are doing their best to maintain his health, but he needs a transplant from a living donor, sooner rather than later. Anyone who would like to be checked to see if they are a match may call or text Chandler's mom, Sandy, at 270-932-1950 to get more information on how to get tested.

Lola and Bogey found safe along Russell Creek

2022-07-24 - Adair Co., KY - Photo from Chris Wilson.
Chris writes, "Thank you everyone for the many calls, texts and messages. We have thankfully found our dogs along a farm about 1 & 1/2 miles down the creek. Jill Wilson performed a swift water rescue once she heard the little one (Bogey) whimpering in a field up off the bank - the dog recognized her voice and suddenly plunged into the water, followed by Lola, the grown dog. Simon and good friend Tanner Foster came to the rescue to help load up everyone out of the creek. Also, a BIG thanks to one of Wilson's former clients- Gordon 'Terry' Neal who helped guide them to an exit point on Russell Creek just before dark. Praise the Lord for a happy ending! Thanks everyone."
