Kentucky Color: Spicebush
 2022-09-20 - Great Wooded South - Photo by Billy Joe Fudge. By Billy Joe Fudge
August spider webs have grown old;
Their task on Earth complete.
Forest floor harborers of ticks
Slowly melt beneath our feet.
Tree trunks hidden in Summer's green,
September's days doth now reveal,
As Spicebush drupes redden
And Autumn's yellows unveil!
