This little deer visiting in my yard evidently didn't get the memo that Modern Gun Deer Season, Kentucky's biggest hunting season, opened Saturday, November 8, 2025. The season lasts for 16 days through Sunday, November 23, 2025.

Football: Record-setting day for Davontaye Saunders

Saturday, November 8, 2025 was a record-setting day for Lindsey Wilson University junior running back Davontaye Saunders of Eminence, Kentucky. Saunders rushed for three touchdowns and a program single-game rushing record 299 rushing yards on 14 carries in Saturday's gameat Parnell Family Stadium. Saunders also set the Blue Raiders' single-season record for rushing yards with 1,440 yards on the season. No. 9-ranked Lindsey Wilson beat Cumberland (Tennessee) University 56-37 to improve to 8-1 overall and 4-1 in the Mid-South Conference. The Blue Raiders conclude the regular season on Nov. 15 at Bethel (Tennessee) University with the Mid-South Conference regular-season title on the line.
