Yesterday, Christie and Teresa Crase drove nearly 3 hours to pick up the six-year-old terrier-Shih-Tzu mix and take him back to his new home with Teresa Crase in Hazel Green, KY. Upon meeting the dog for the first time, Teresa christened him "Benji." Lora is excited to have given a second chance to this neglected dog, and said dropping him off with his new owner was "an emotional and wonderful experience." Before: In need of care and a home 2022-11-23 - Adair Co., KY - Photo from Lora Bell. A month and a half ago, this dog's owners moved out of their mobile home, leaving him stranded and alone. Neighbors pitched in to get the dog out and bring him food. Local volunteer Lora Bell rescued the abandoned dog from the trailer. She got him bathed and arranged for a grooming and makeover.
