Dale Hayes, points to a bidder, and Bradley Karnes were the auctioneers selected to sell the Marguerite Dudley historic home and collectibles Saturday, March 25, 2023 in Montpelier. The front of the home overlooks the location where the store and post office once stood at the bottom of the hill.

Wildflower: Trout Lily

The 2023 crop of trout lilies is starting to make an appearance in Central Kentucky. According to Wikipedia, the flower is so-named because its leaves resemble the coloring of brook trout.
