EDA looking for the next treasurer and vice chair

Current treasurer Roger Meadows, at left, and members of the board of the Economic Development Authority (EDA) are searching for the next person to hold that position in the organization. The volunteer job will be opening after the first of the year. Another position that will need to be filled will be that of executive vice president and vice chair held by Mark Dykes whose term has been extended through the end of December, 2023. Those interested in volunteering can speak with Roger at United Citizens Band and Mark at the Bank of Columbia about the process.

Metcalfe Schools hold opening day rally

Smooth rides on new blacktop around town

Three new busses added to Adair fleet
 2023-08-23 - Columbia, KY - Photo from Adair County Schools. The Adair County Schools just received three new Thomas Buses that will be ready for the start of the 2023-2024 school year. The buses include two 66-passenger school buses and one 30-passenger school bus.
