Congratulations to CU grad Kaylee Campbell

Kaylee Campbell delivered the acceptance speech on behalf of her 2025 graduating class to Campbellsville University President Joseph Hopkins' Charge to seniors. She moves into the next chapter of her educational career goals this fall as she enters CU's College of Chiropractics. Her Mom shared, "We are so thankful for everyone who has supported Kaylee along the way." The joy and gratitude shows each of the faces in this keepsake picture. The program will begin in the VFW Hall with guest speaker Neal Owsley, and then move outside for the laying of the wreaths to honor our fallen comrades.

For several years, Daniel Wilson, Chief Forecaster of the Storm Alert Center, has held storm spotter training classes like this one held in Russell Springs just a couple of weeks ago. Friday night, classes like this paid off in the ability of storm spotters to alert people in Russell and surrounding counties when emergency situations were developing near them.
