2025-10-20 - Central Kentucky - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Beautiful Rocktrumpet, known for its vibrant, trumpet-shaped flowers, is providing color this early fall in pinks, reds, and whites, with glossy, dark green leaves. The vines can climb trellises, fence and porch posts. They also work in hanging baskets, and best of all, they attract butterflies and hummingbirds.

Work has been going on for years to save and restore the historic Adair County courthouse and in recent years it has been coming together nicely, even to the delightful clock chimes. One vandal couldn't stand the progress and gave his time and energy to climbing the steps all the way up to the interior of the clock and steal the hands off the clock. What a waste.
