Hoops for Heritage fundraiser

Unique refreshments from new business

December's To The Nines event included light refreshments in the "Old Columbia" business owned by Dave and Tina Thomas.

The food was created, including this Christmas veggie and cheese tree, by Tonya Grant in her new business she has named Around Thy Table.

Hot chocolate was provided by the Tourist Commission. To The Nines is a special first Friday late-hours event to draw shoppers to downtown retail businesses.

A Merry Little Christmas play

Two thumbs up, five stars, and any other top ratings we can think of, are awarded to the youth and children of Columbia United Methodist Church. Their play, A Merry Little Christmas, was presented in four acts with a stellar cast including tiny baby Jesus.
