Scenic Adair Co.: Frosty Barn, ca 2016

Robert writes of this scene that he came across back in late December of 2016, that spurred him to return quickly with camera, "It was a hoary frost event that was only happening on the ridge in Sparksville."

Dial family of Adair County connected to the Mayflower

Annita Dial, seated in front, presented research tracing her family lineage more than 400 years back to Mayflower passenger John Howland, the subject of the book, "The Boy Who Fell Off the Mayflower." She recommends that everyone take time to trace and discover their own family histories. She also introduced her granddaughter Lariat, who is learning family research alongside her. Annita's family is pictured wearing family t-shirts that include their verified lineage and will be worn by family members during all holiday gatherings. Back row (Annita’s children): Jordan Baker, Jaykob Lee, Kantlee Harvey, Jaireka Barnett Baldwin, Jenna Lee Gray, and Cameron Barnett.
