Enjoying equipment at Tractor Show

Founder Lewis Garrison recognized Adair County contractor and host of the show for the past 15 years was awarded the People's Choice trophy both for the tractors he brought to the show and his long history as host of the very popular event. He asked Homeplace to host the show this year. Awarding the trophy to Lewis is Dr. Max Downey, member of the Homeplace Board of Directors Executive Committee. - George Kolbenschlag

Scenic Green Co., KY: Goose Creek Footbridge

Historic Bridge, 84 years old, resurfaced: Work has been completed on the Goose Creek Footbridge in Greensburg, KY. The bridge was built in 1928 and is 40 feet high at its highest point and 445 feet long with a wooden plank walkway 5 feet wide. - Diane Hall
