Scenic Jamestown, KY: Duck Alley beauty 2012-06-18 - Duck Alley, Jamestown, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener. Small wonder that Jamestown, KY has won national acclaim as the No. 1 Community in which to raise a family. As much attention has been paid to details off the gorgeous public square as on it, as much so as have the communities of Greensburg and Springfield in other parts of our region. This scene is on Duck Alley, where the back of a renovated downtown office building is cooled with trees and vines, and the remains of a block wall are artistically trimmed with disciplined trumpet vine to enhance another hint of history.
