New Historical Marker at McKinney, KY


2012-06-24 - Short Pike, McKinney, Lincoln County, KY - Photo by Johnnie Tarter, Columbia, KY. A major incident on American soil during the long Cold War, won't fade into history, but memories of the tragedy are now officially commemorated thanks to the work of Adair Countians Chris Bennett and Alan Reed. Bennett was inspired by the story of the event remembered by Alan Reed and then spearheaded a drive to fund, process and erect this Kentucky Historical Marker on Short Pike, McKinney, KY.
