Gov. Beshear in Campbellsville, KY, with Larry Smith

Gov. Steve Beshear, the hero of the day
was interviewed by Larry Smith, the Big Dawg, 99.9 FM, during the Governor's visit to Campbellsville to announce the state grant, which, made the new 1,000,000 gallon Campbellsville Water Tank possible. The tower, to be located in the industrial park on the south side of Campbellsville, KY, will be the largest such storage tank in Taylor County. In the background are, left State Senator Jimmy Higdon, (Taylor-Marion), and center Campbellsville Mayor Tony Young, another hero of the Red Letter Day for Campbellsville and South Central Kentucky.

Epicurean Kentuckian: Blackened Scallop Salad

One of the house specialties at the Montgomery Inn, the Blackened Scallop Salad features sea scallops served on a bed of spinach, cabbage and lettuce, topped with warm bacon dressing and crumbled bleu cheese.
