Scenic Adair County: Approach to new interchange 2012-07-01 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Pen. A graceful S Curve tops the hill at the intersection of Old Burkesville Road and KY 768. The intersection is at the top of Wheeler Hill, between The Flatwoods and the Antioch suburbs of Sparksville, KY. Only a small stretch of new KY 61 S. between the J.C. Lasley Farm and just north of Sparksville - the Sparksville Bypass section is open - remains to be finished. According to word from The Flatwoods Business District, getting all the guardrails in place, plus a tiny bit of paving, is all that remains.
