left, standing of Branscum Construction Co., Russell Springs, KY, gave the first monthly owners progress report to the Adair County School Board at its July 19, 2012 meeting. Seated are Jim Leib, correspondent for the WAVE, FM 92.7, and Allison Holland, reporter for the Adair County Community Voice. Superintendent Alan W. Reed said that he's pleased with the construction thus far, singing out the care being taken with the blasting in site preparation and compaction for one of the drives in early stages of development.

the member of Fiscal Court with the most seniority, sat alone in the back of the cavernous and nearly empty Trinity UMC Fellowship Hall at yesterday's 9amCT, hearing on a proposed ad valorem tax the hospital district is rushing to a vote today, Friday, July 20, 2012.
