left, and Larry Neat represented Mary's House in an interview in Campbellsville, KY, at the Big Dawg, 99.9 FM, with Larry Smith. Major donations have come from the Taylor County community, which were essential to the effort to build Mary's House, for Mary McGuffin and her seven children. Organizers of the fundraiser are confident that the $40,000 needed before the start of construction will be a reality within a few hours. The last official count put the need at only $558!!!

2012-08-08 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Larry Smith. Melissa Fudge and Jim Flowers of the Mary's House Committee were interviewed by Larry Smith early this morning on The WAVE, 92.7 FM. The two were part of the original committee to take on the ambitious plan to build the house for Mary McGuffin and her seven children after the family lost their home and possessions in a fire. Now, with a final push including the help of the local radio station, the project is now only minutes, hours or no more than a day or so away for reaching the construction start goal of $40,000 in the bank. L
